Fiona believes that current drug policy is the biggest barrier to recovery. Watch the video below to hear her story and why it led her to believe that the UK’s drug laws need to change. She says:
“I have a profound sadness that things could so easily have been different for the community, lives saved with simple measures and families having their loved ones with them today. Drugs can be dangerous, and it’s really irresponsible not to take control over dangerous substances. We need to legally regulate the market.”
This video was made by Anyone’s Child: Families for Safer Drug Control which is an international network of families whose lives have been wrecked by current drug laws and are now campaigning to change them.
